I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and moved to the beautiful Atlanta area 25 years go. I have ALWAYS loved real estate, from design and architecture to owning and managing investment properties. For over 20 years I have been in the real estate industry either as an investor or helping buyers and sellers find and sell their homes. I am the owner of Hamstead Realty and an Associate Broker.
My husband Julian and I have five beautiful children, a fantastic son-in-law, and the most beautiful grandbaby. (We'll be updating the family photo soon!) We are almost "empty nesters" which is an interesting new phase of life for us. There is definitely great joy in watching the family grow, face challenges together and accomplish dreams.
So many things....I love politics and advocacy work, discovering new places near and far, learning something new, and cuddling with my grandbaby or my furry friend, What brings me to tears? Watching my child graduate - elementary, middle, high school or college. and sending a child away from home - each time. Life's precious moments.
The Luxury Home Network Breakfast Club is focused on luxury properties in North Atlanta. I am currently an Area Manager for the group which meets monthly at a luxury property for breakfast, networking with other agents and to showcase our own listings. this is a great marketing tool as it is comprised of agents from all brokerages.
The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network is the legislative arm of the American Cancer Society. I have served as the lead Advocate for the State of Georgia, the lead advocate for Congressional District 6 and am currently a Team Member for CD 6. I want my voice heard in the halls of Congress to find a cure for this disease.
I currently serve as a member of the City of Milton Board of Zoning Appeals. The BZA hears requests for variances from the standards of the zoning ordinance and appeals of administrative determinations. I have previously served as a member of the Milton Charter Commission.
My license to sell real estate was obtained through the Georgia Real Estate Commission which administers license law that regulates brokers, salespersons, and community association managers. The Commission develops policies and procedures and generates rules and regulations.
